Volusian

Caius Vibius Afinius Vendumnianus Volusianus, Caesar 251, Augustus 251 - 253

The son of the emperor Gallus, Volusian was born in around 230 and was made Caesar on the accession of his father to the throne in 251. On the death of Hostilian, Gallus 's co-emperor and son of the former emperor Decius, Volusian was raised to the rank of Augustus. On the revolt of Aemilian, Volusian was murdered along with his father, by their own soldiers.
